Chipotle-Orange baked tofu.
Julie & Kittee’s Super Yummy Baked Tofu for the Air Fryer!
Tofu gets an undeserved bad rap for being a high fat food, but we think it’s got great macros and is a fabulous source of plant protein. A 14oz block of firm tofu contains approximately 405 calories, 22.5 grams fat, and 45 g of protein. If you slice the block into 9-10 slices (like the recipes in this book) it averages to 45 calories, 2.5 g of fat and 5g of protein per slice!
Our baked tofu recipes contain whole foods, are refined sugar-free, and all but three contain no added oil. Besides an air fryer, the only special equipment you need for these recipes is a deep, square container for marinating the tofu.
The baked tofu recipes included in this volume: Lemon Herb, Hibiscus-Ginger-Beet, Smoky, Maple BBQ, Lemongrass, Chipotle-Orange, Chimichurri, Chicken-Style, Peanut Butter, Sesame, and Nooch-y. We also include info on using tempeh intead of tofu and oven baking.
Thanks for your support!
Q: Do You have to have an air fryer to make these recipes?
A: Yes and no. The recipes were designed for the air fryer, but we offer directions for oven baking as well, although the results aren’t exactly the same.

A: Nope. The recipes which have sweeteners are made with maple syrup or agave nectar.
