Standing in my front yard, photographing waffles this morning y’all. That’s love, ‘cuz I most definitely dripped garlic butter onto the wood floor by the front door. And, I’m in love with these waffles, they are sooOOOooo good. Great on their own, but if you’re gluten-free they are the PERFECT answer to your quest for garlic bread. I actually have lasagna in the fridge, and opted to eat two of these gorgeous things instead of any lasagna. Don’t be mad at me when you develop a strong addiction to these and stop eating all other food groups. Garlic butter cheese waffles forever on repeat sounds like a pretty AOK plan to me…
Any kind of vegan shreds will be yumps in this recipe, but your waffles will be their prettiest with a cheddar style. Pictured in these waffles, I used a white smoky-dill I had hanging out in the fridge, it was adapted from our Pepper Jack recipe.
