About Kittee Berns:
Kittee is a long time vegan blogger, activist, maker and passionate vegan cook and eater. Along with a master’s degree in education, she has over 13 years experience working in the natural foods industry. She’s been an ethical vegan for 27 years and is gluten-free and off of refined sugar due to a rheumatic auto immune disease (HLA-B27+ Spondylitis).
She is the award winning author of Teff Love, and her recipes have also appeared in several other books and publications including: Vegan Pizza, Vegan Pie in the Sky, The Vegan Girl’s Guide to Life, Let Gluten Freedom Ring, and Hungry Monkey.
Kittee is especially enthusiastic about organizing bakesale fundraisers, brewing kombucha and home fermentation. When not in the kitchen playing with her air fryer, she can be found gardening, knitting, sewing vintage dresses, wrangling terriers, or digging around thrift stores and estate sales to feed her many collections.
